Howden France makes its first acquisition with the takeover of CRF Conseils, a specialist in liability and cyber risks for financial institutions and innovative companies. The two leaders of the firm remain at the helm.

Six months after its arrival in France, Howden France is deploying its development strategy as announced with its first acquisition. The broker has just finalized the takeover of CRF Conseils, a firm specializing in the liability and cyber risks of financial institutions, innovative companies and listed companies. “This first acquisition for Howden France enables the launch of operational capabilities in a new market for Howden’s very fast growing platform in Europe”can we read in a press release.

“Its reputation is based primarily on very strong technical expertise and quality service. For us, CRF represents a perfect strategic alignment and the best way to launch ourselves in France as a credible and differentiating alternative”adds Nicolas Aubert, Managing Director of Howden France.

Led by Didier Arminjon and Didier Seigneur, CRF Conseils – which recorded growth in turnover in 2021 to 2.8 million euros – thus becomes the first “entity” from Howden France. At the end of the operation, Didier Arminjon will remain at the helm of CRF as Managing Director and Didier Seigneur as Deputy Managing Director and Director of Financial Lines of Howden France, “each joining the management team of Howden France, under the leadership of Nicolas Aubert”. Sylvie Menashé also retains her position as commercial director of CRF.
