Latest Microsoft Edge Dev Features Narrator Announcing “Banner” On “Learn More” Link


Microsoft has just released the latest Edge development build, which comes in at 105.0.1336.2. The release has some tweaks along with the usual reliability fixes and some new features.

As for the added features, the first is a Narrator announcement banner on the Learn More link in Microsoft Edge. The release also comes with improved support for a Chromium management policy to control whether unthrottled nested timeout is enabled.

  • Fixed an issue where the profile popup was sometimes cut off
  • Fixed various crashes
  • Fixed diagnostic button layout
  • Fixed drag and drop for collections
  • Fixed a crash when clicking the tab actions menu button

In other Edge news, you can now use Apple Pay in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome on iOS 16 beta 4. Also be sure to check out last week’s Edge Dev Build in case you missed it, it had some improvements in the volume mixer on Windows devices.
