Microsoft Releases Fake God Of War Game From Xbox Store

A God of the war the knockoff game was pulled from the Xbox store. The game in question, entitled “War Gods Zeus of Child”, was presented as follows,

War Gods Zeus of Child is an excellent war game. Destroy all enemies and creatures with challenge Zeus war gods [sic]. Kill them all with your weapon. Launch attacks with various combos. Achieve the highest number of monster kills without dying. Feel the power of the warner god.

Publisher Dolakta LTD is also the company behind Dinosaur Falling Survival – a game heavily “inspired” by Fall Guys.

Xbox chief Phil Spencer recently made headlines when he listed the next installment in the God of War series as the game he’s most looking forward to playing next. Somehow, we can only imagine that’s not what he meant.

God of War is, of course, one of Sony’s biggest exclusive IPs. Seeing him so blatantly ripped off on the Xbox store must be something embarrassing for Xbox.

Gods of War Zeus of the Child features (quite blatantly) Kratos, the protagonist of the God of War series. Only in this game does the Greek demigod apparently have access to guns. The game was listed at $4.09 and did quite a bit of buzz before it was pulled. At this time, it seems unclear whether the game’s publisher or Microsoft pulled the game. It’s also unclear how the game made it through the approval process.
