You can finally manage your Microsoft Office account in Windows 11

Microsoft makes it easy to update your Office subscription by letting you manage your account directly on the Windows 11 Settings app.

The new feature is coming in the build 25126 of Windows 11 for members of the Insider program, which can be found on the Dev channel. You will be able to check all supported Microsoft 365 Office apps which are licensed for your account by going to the Accounts tab in the Settings menu. You will be able to read the details of the products there by clicking on Show details and even buy them if you want a subscription.

The new Accounts tab also features links to the Microsoft Rewards page and to your personal OneDrive storage space. The build 25,126 is slowly being released to Insider members, so you might not know you have it. Make sure you have the latest version installed on your computer if you are part of the Insider program.

You can join the Windows 11 Insider Program by first registering on the Microsoft website and then registering on your PC. Open the Settings menu and go to Windows Update. You will see a tab titled Windows Insider Program; click on this tab and follow the given instructions.

New Office 365 functionality may not be included in the final release. It all depends on the feedback received by Microsoft, which you can add by opening the Feedback Hub in Settings. The Hub is located under User Profile Accounts Settings.

The rest of Preview Build 25126 is a collection of fixes. According to the blog post, Microsoft fixed a customization issue that caused preview images to appear upside down when using Arabic or Hebrew as the display language. The company also fixed the search bar that crashed randomly and made sure that open context menus retain the same visual style as the task manager.

Microsoft said it is aware of issues affecting video games and live captioning on some apps. Apparently some games crash if you use Easy Ant-Cheat. Some video players, Microsoft hasn’t specified which ones, sometimes won’t show live captions or will pop up the captioning app at the top of the screen.
